I recently played the RIFT beta. Although it’s lacking in CC, leveling is quick, and I don’t appreciate the color palette used in some of the areas, I had a fair amount of fun. In fact, I enjoyed myself enough to pre-purchase the game, which just launched early access 13 minutes ago. Considering I’m still 30 minutes away from my line in the queue, I figured I’d post a SS from beta.
You can see here, my bard, and pretty much everyone else, being massacred by a giant explosion of fireworks. That massive array of colors is actually a giant tree, which erupted into said fireworks within the last minute of beta as a final farewell event. It was rather amusing.
